Polly Claire’s located within the Historic Dent House is the perfect venue for engagement photos, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, bridesmaids brunches, day after the wedding brunch for family, and weddings with guest lists of 65 or less.  The Historic Dent House has three large main floor dining rooms which hold 30 people comfortably in each room.  A fully functioning handicapped lift at the rear entrance enables all guests to attend.  



Polly Claire”s encourages photographers to use the venue at will. Appointments must be made two days prior to use, a thirty minute window is allowed with NO FEE.  Appointments during opening hours must not include guests in any shots.  After hour photography will be limited to 4:00 pm appointments  Monday through Saturday.



Rehearsal Dinners 

Polly Claire’s hosts rehearsal dinners for up to 60 people between 6-9 pm Friday or Saturday with a  private room fee of $125.00 and preselected three course menus beginning at $26 per person, excluding taxes and gratuities. House wines and champagne are available upon request by the bottle or case.


 Showers, Bridal Teas, Family Brunch

Currently there are no room fees associated with private daytime events Monday through Saturday.  Food stations or seated meals are provided using one of our three event menu’s under the menu tab on our website. Each menu is set at $20 pp, excluding taxes and gratuities. Polly Claire’s is CLOSED on Sunday and opens for private events with a $750 minimum. We cannot guarantee a private space for small parties with fewer than 12 guests.  Wine, champagne, cocktails, and celebration hat cakes are provided for an additional cost.  Gift tables, and other details can be provided at no extra charge by speaking with our event planner when making a reservation.



The house’s wide grand staircase makes a perfect aisle for the bride’s entrance!  Intimate weddings can be beautifully performed in front of our fireplaces in either of our two choice dining rooms, on our wide front porch, or in the grand foyer. 


Four spacious upstairs rooms with private en suite “necessary rooms” provide ample space for the wedding party to dress and make ready.  Many configurations exist and Polly Claire’s encourages brides and wedding planners to schedule a visit to explore possibilities.


Our culinary team can provide a seated and served meal for every guest with full and complete beverage licensing.  Meals include gold chivari chairs, white table linens, heavy weight flatware, white porcelain plates, glass goblets, wine and/or champagne flutes. 



    Full House rental after 4pm Monday through Friday, for up to 65 guests;  $2,100.00

    Full House rental Saturday or Sunday, for up to 65 guests $4,200.00


Menu Pricing:

    Three course meals include a salad or soup, entree, beverage, and served cake beginning at $26/pp.  Four course meals begin at $35/pp. A unique menu planning session for up to 1.5 hours with our culinary team is included.  Additional sessions are $50. Menu selections which incur significant changes after planning session will incur a $125.00 fee. No outside caterers will be considered. 


    Wine and champagne are purchased by the bottle or case based on selection.  Full bar provided at an additional cost.


All weddings are slotted for a four hour period.  Each additional hour is $400. Upstairs rooms will be provided at $75 per room. A 50% deposit is required to hold the date with the balance paid 30 days prior to the event. Flowers and wedding cakes may be delivered directly within four hours of the selected start time, unless otherwise prearranged. Wedding planners and party members will be allowed entrance no earlier than the scheduled time set in planning session.  A $275 cleaning deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED unless wedding decor remains in the house or on the grounds  i.e. candles, greenery, signage, etc. Event insurance is  required.
